Privacy Policy

The protection of your data is our special concern. That’s why we process your data solely based on legal regulations (GDPR). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing regarding our website.

Acquisition of personal data

Every time our web presence is accessed, your computer (end device) transmits especially the following information, to enable you to visit our website:

  • IP-Address
  • Date and time of the request
  • Content of the request (precise site)
  • Access status/HTTP-Status code
  • Individually transmitted amount of data
  • Website, from where the request comes
  • Browser und browser settings
  • Operating system and its interface
  • Language and version of the browser software

Automatically accumulated logged data on the webserver will be deleted after 6 months at the latest.

Personal data (name, address, email address, etc.) that you provide voluntarily, e.g. by subscribing to our newsletter, will be earmarked for providing the associated services (e.g. delivery of newsletters) and stored for the duration of the usage relationship, except a longer storage period is required to meet a contractual or legal obligation or for assertion or for defence from legal claims.

Web-Analyse:

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC Menlo Park, USA and Google Ireland Limited or a subcompany respectively. For that purpose, Cookies are used that enable an analysis of the websites usage by ist users. The generated information is transferred to the providers server and stored there. You can prevent this by setting your browser, so that no Cookies are stored. Google offers an opt-out here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/

We have established an according data processing agreement.

Your IP address will be determined, but is pseudonymized immediately (by deleting the last 8 Bit). This allows only for a rough localization.

The relationship to the web analysis provider is based on the US-EU Privacy Shield.

Data processing is performed based on the legal regulation of Art 6 Sec 1 lit a (agreement) and/or f (vested interest) of the GDPR.

Our concern regarding the GDPR (vested interest) is the improvement of our offer and our web presence. Because the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is pseudonymized.

Contacting us

If you contact us by email or via the form on our website, the stated data is stored by us for 24 months to process your request and in case of follow-up questions. This data will not be forwarded without your permission.

Cookies

Our website uses so called Cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device through your browser. These are not harmful.

The Cookies are only used for the respective session and will be deleted after 24 hours.

If you do not want that, you can set your browser to inform you if a Cookie is set and allow that only in individual cases.

If you deactivate Cookies the functionality of our website can be limited.

Drift

For the integration of live chat, we use Drift.com, Inc, 3 Copley Place, Suite 7000, Boston, MA 02116 – USA. Usually, your IP address, localization and logfiles are already send to Drift. This data will not be forwarded to Drift without your explicit permission.

The possible accumulation and usage of your data by Drift is not known to us.

YouTube

For the integration of videos, we use YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, substituted by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Usually, your IP address will be send to Google and Cookies will be stored on our computer as soon as you are opening a site with embedded videos.

We have integrated YouTube videos with the extended data protection mode though (in this case YouTube is still contacting the service Double Klick by Google, but according to the data protection statement of Google, personal data will not be processed). Therefore, no information about the visitors will be stored by YouTube, except you watch the video.

If you click on the video, your IP address is send to YouTube and YouTube knows, that you have watched the video.

If you are logged in to YouTube, this information will be linked to your user account (you can prevent this, by logging off from YouTube before watching the video).

The possible accumulation and usage of your data by YouTube is not known to us. More information is available in YouTube’s data protection statement at www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Google reCAPTCHA

We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (referred to as “reCAPTCHA”) on our website. Provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).

reCAPTCHA is used to check if data on our websites (e.g the contact form) is entered by a human or automatically.

Data processing is performed based on Art 6 Sec 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a vested interest to protect its web offer from abusive automated spying and SPAM.

Newsletter / Contact form

You have the option to subscribe to a newsletter through our website. Therefore, we require your email address and your statement, that you agree to receive the newsletter.

In addition, to provide you with information purposefully, we survey and process voluntarily provided data about

  • Field of interest
  • ZIP code / address
  • Phone number
  • Company / Position

As soon as you subscribe to the newsletter, we send you a confirmation email with a link to confirm your registration.

You can cancel the subscription pf the newsletter at any time. Please send your cancellation to the following email address: support@arland.at We will delete your data in regard to the newsletter delivery immediately.

Your rights

In general, you have the right to gain access to the stored personal data and to correction, deletion, limitation, transfer, cancellation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection laws or your data protection rights are violated in any way, you can file a complaint with the regulatory body.
